We are Happy to Share and Publish our Participation in Edition 3 of " Museum of Emotions " international competition for 2023 Our Project " Re-Gen "
The Competition's Main Scope is to Design two Main Halls for a Museum to share and challenge Two Opposed Feelings of the Audience , as for the first hall is to show a negative feeling , and the second hall to relieve the audience with a Positive Feeling .
The Scenario & Story telling
Re-gen refer to Regeneration , describes our concept of rebuilding and reliving , The rehabilitation process is abstracted throughout the project halls , as the hardship , loss , feeling of danger and isolation are presented within the first hall , while the second provides a living warm environment where people can relax and start to reflect and start anew while seeing the city lights.
The Main Concept
we chose a below zero temperature location to focus on the people who are affected by the meanings of isolation and the need of shelter so we can overcome the hard weather of the isolated region , and provide a sense of aesthetic through the museum , where people can gather and perform social activities in a safe enclosure that includes a warm lively environment .

Our Design
we were inspired to design our project by the form of the local way of living , which is the " Igloo " , and its unique characteristics that makes it environmental friendly and easy to achieve , as well as how it faces the outdoor weather and provides an internal thermal comfort for the users , as its spherical shape lowers the heat loss and preserves the windcycle inside of the igloo
